Great news! The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington DC is putting on Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Lisner Auditorium in March and has agreed to donate all proceeds from their dress rehearsal on March 15 go to BHT. This is a great opportunity for BHT and all our grantees, but there’s some work we have to do. I’m writing to ask for help from you and your Organization for two tasks. Will you help us sell tickets through your membership and your friends?

We’re offering $25 admission for this “sneak preview,” with $50 admission for reserved seating. You can purchase tickets online from the website we’ve created for the event at http://rockyhorrorshowsneakpreview.

We also wonder if you’d help us get the word out. Help us have the funds to give more in 2012.

GMCW dress rehearsal to benefit BHT

The Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC, will donate the proceeds of their dress rehearsal of the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 7 p.m. to Brother, Help Thyself. The performance will be at Lisner Auditorium, 730 21st Street NW, Washington, D.C.Tickets are $25 and $50.

“Don’t Dream It. Be It!” GMCW presents an all-male version of the wild and untamed gender-bending cult musical! There is a light over at the Frankenstein place, which leads an unsuspecting couple into the jowls of an alluringly salacious, sweet transvestite. Dr. Frankenfurter has been making a man…with blonde hair and a tan… and he’s in hot pursuit of pleasure with songs that will have every fan dancing in the aisles.
