Checks available at Feb. 17 meeting or by mail
We have had an unfortunate week. With weather conditions, street closings and public transportation in an undecided state, the thought is that it is better to cancel then to have a reception where few could attend.
We will give out the awards at Wednesday's re-scheduled board meeting and send the checks to our grantees once we have a valid e-mail address and a person's name who can sign a return receipt. Grantees can also attend the board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17 beginning at 8 p.m. at the Dignity Center, 721 8th St. SE, Washington, to pick up checks then if they prefer.
